Auction of Champions – Social Media/Email/SMS Marketing Associate

Position reports to Owners/Manager | Full-Time Permanent Position | Monday–Friday | Compensation $20-22/hr DOE

We are a rapidly growing sports memorabilia company seeking a creative, organized, and self-motivated Social Media/Email/SMS associate to lead our social media presence across multiple platforms. This is a hands-on role focused on content creation, audience engagement, and driving awareness for our daily and weekly auctions.

The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many hats, creating content from start to finish, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.

Applicant Requirements

• Strong understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels.
• Experience creating engaging photo and video content for social media.
• Ability to write compelling captions and promotional copy.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and directing content when needed.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with ownership and team members.
• Knowledge of sports, trading cards, memorabilia, and collectibles is strongly preferred.

Job Duties Include but Are Not Limited To:

Content Creation & Brand Management

• Take photos and videos of sports cards, memorabilia, and company events.
• Film and edit reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and promotional videos.
• Design graphics and marketing materials using Canva and other creative tools.
• Write captions, social copy, and promotional content.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms.
• Repurpose content across multiple social media channels.

Auction Promotion & Marketing

• Email and SMS marketing using Klaviyo
• Promote upcoming auctions and featured consignments.
• Create excitement around high-end and unique memorabilia.
• Develop promotional campaigns, contests, giveaways, and special events.
• Post auction reminders, countdowns, and closing alerts.
• Assist with live streams, product showcases, and hobby-related content.

Community Engagement

• Respond to comments, messages, and collector inquiries.
• Engage with followers and hobby communities.
• Monitor brand mentions and customer feedback.
• Build relationships with collectors, influencers, and industry partners.

Strategy & Analytics

• Develop and maintain monthly content calendars.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
• Track engagement, audience growth, website traffic, and campaign performance.
• Prepare performance reports and recommendations.
• Assist with paid social advertising campaigns when applicable.

Schedule & Benefits

• Paid bi-weekly.
• Accrued sick time after 90 days employment.
• Additional benefits available after 90 days employment.
• On-site position only (not remote).

Position Details

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating content, building communities, and helping grow a brand. Our business moves quickly, and the ideal candidate is comfortable adapting to changing priorities while consistently producing engaging content that drives results.

Candidates should be proficient with social media platforms, Klaviyo, Canva, Google Workspace, and basic photo/video editing software. Non-Smoking Office.
