Social Science And Maths Primary Grade Teacher

To deliver high-quality classroom instruction in Mathematics and Social Science to students of grades 3 to 5, promoting critical thinking, curiosity, and foundational subject knowledge in line with the school’s curriculum and academic standards.

Key Responsibilities:Teaching & Learning

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Mathematics and Social Science aligned with school curriculum and NEP guidelines.
• Use interactive and child-centered methods to strengthen conceptual understanding and application.
• Prepare age-appropriate learning aids, worksheets, and project activities.
• Foster a classroom culture that promotes discipline, curiosity, and participation.
• Assign, evaluate, and provide feedback on homework, classwork, and assessments.

Curriculum & Academic Support

• Maintain academic records, student portfolios, and subject-wise performance tracking.
• Contribute to lesson planning, question paper setting, and evaluation in coordination with subject heads.
• Support preparation of activities, exhibitions, and subject-related events.

Classroom & Student Management

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Identify learning difficulties and provide individual support or remedial teaching.
• Encourage student participation in both curricular and co-curricular activities.

Parent Communication

• Participate in PTMs and keep parents informed of student progress and performance.
• Collaborate with parents and school counselors when behavioral or academic concerns arise.

Professional Conduct

• Maintain punctuality and regularity in attendance and duties.
• Participate in school workshops, trainings, and staff meetings.
• Uphold school policies, values, and the professional ethics of teaching.
