Social Science Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher to join our Matriculation School faculty. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to engage students through innovative teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Social Science (History, Geography, Civics, Economics) as per the Matriculation curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assignments aligned with academic objectives.
• Foster an interactive and student-centered learning environment.
• Conduct assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
• Encourage critical thinking, curiosity, and awareness about social, cultural, and political issues.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe, inclusive learning space.
• Collaborate with colleagues for academic planning, events, and school activities.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings and maintain effective communication with parents.
• Stay updated with changes in curriculum and innovative teaching strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in History / Geography / Political Science / Social Science or related discipline.
• B.Ed. (mandatory).
• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a reputed Matriculation / CBSE / ICSE school (preferred).
• Strong communication skills in English (Tamil proficiency will be an added advantage).
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
• Ability to integrate technology into teaching.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
