Social Services Worker

Social Services Workers are qualified by education and experience to provide direct care to both patients and family members.

• Minimum of a Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree or Masters in counseling, psychology, sociology, or psychiatric nursing
• Licensed Clinical Social worker (LCSW) preferred
• Must have experience in hospital, mental health, oncology or home health environments
• Must possess good communications skills, both oral and written
• Must be willing to participate in a multi-disciplinary team process of treatment planning and patient care evaluation
• Must be willing to be cross trained and function in all areas of the hospitals social service program
