Social Studies Teacher

Job Summary

The Social Studies Teacher will deliver engaging lessons that introduce students to basic concepts of history, geography, civics, and culture. The teacher will create an interactive and supportive learning environment while helping students build foundational knowledge and critical thinking skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and teach appropriate Social Studies lessons.
• Use interactive methods—stories, maps, activities, and discussions—to enhance understanding.
• Assess student learning through quizzes, assignments, and classwork.
• Maintain an organized, positive, and disciplined classroom.
• Communicate with parents about student progress and behavior.
• Prepare teaching materials and maintain student records.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and school events.
• Work cooperatively with colleagues to support academic planning.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience teaching primary grades (preferred).
• Strong understanding of basic Social Studies concepts.
• Good communication, classroom management, and child-handling skills.
• Ability to make lessons engaging and easy to understand for young learners.
• Professional, responsible, and able to work in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs30,000.00 - Rs35,000.00 per month
