Job Overview

We are looking for a knowledgeable and engaging Social Science Teacher to teach Classes 8 to 10 (CBSE curriculum). The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of History, Geography, Civics, and Economics, and the ability to make social science interesting, relevant, and interactive for students.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Social Science subjects (History, Geography, Civics, Economics) as per CBSE curriculum
• Develop and deliver lesson plans, presentations, and classroom activities
• Encourage critical thinking, discussions, and project-based learning
• Prepare students for school exams and CBSE board examinations
• Conduct map work, case studies, group discussions, and debates
• Design assignments, worksheets, and assessments
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback and improvement plans
• Maintain student records, academic reports, and attendance
• Use smart boards, videos, and digital tools for effective teaching
• Organize and participate in school events, exhibitions, and field trips

Qualifications Required

• Postgraduate/Graduate degree in Social Science

(MA/BA in History / Geography / Political Science / Economics)

• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory
• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in CBSE schools (preferred)
• Freshers with strong subject knowledge may also apply

• Excellent communication and explanation skills
• Ability to connect topics with real-world examples
• Strong classroom management skills
• Good knowledge of map work and data interpretation
• Basic knowledge of digital teaching tools

Work Details

• Position: Full-time

Salary Range

• Starting from 40k
