Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Social Studies Teacher with specialization in Geography or History. The ideal candidate should be capable of delivering engaging lessons and handling subjects such as Qatar History and Travel & Tourism effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver interactive lessons in Social Studies, focusing on Geography and/or History
• Teach Qatar History in an engaging and culturally relevant manner
• Conduct classes for Travel & Tourism topics, linking theory with real-world applications
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Encourage critical thinking, research skills, and global awareness among students
• Use modern teaching tools and digital resources to enhance learning
• Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geography, History, or Social Studies
• Prior teaching experience (preferred, especially in IGCSE/CBSE or similar curricula)
• Strong knowledge of Qatar History and Tourism concepts
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students
• Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and classroom technologies

Preferred Skills

• Experience teaching Travel & Tourism subjects
• Creative lesson delivery and activity-based teaching approach
• Strong classroom management skills
• Adaptability to different student learning levels
