Role Overview
The Social Work Intern will support the NGO’s social welfare, community development, and outreach programs. The intern will gain hands-on experience in grassroots work, project implementation, community engagement, documentation, and impact assessment while contributing meaningfully to social causes.
Key Responsibilities
- Community Engagement & Field Work
- Assist in planning and conducting field visits, surveys, and community meetings.
- Support awareness campaigns related to education, health, environment, women's empowerment, child rights, or livelihood programs.
- Interact with beneficiaries, local stakeholders, and volunteers.
- Program Implementation
- Support ongoing projects and events such as workshops, training programs, relief drives, and campaigns.
- Help in mobilizing beneficiaries and coordinating logistics at the ground level.
- Assist in monitoring project activities and timelines.
- Research & Documentation
- Conduct basic research, data collection, and need assessments.
- Maintain records, attendance sheets, case studies, and beneficiary data.
- Assist in preparing reports, success stories, and impact documentation.
- Administrative & Office Support
- Support day-to-day NGO operations and coordination tasks.
- Assist in proposal writing, presentations, and CSR documentation (if applicable).
- Maintain databases and communication records.
- Communication & Outreach
- Support social media content, newsletters, and awareness materials.
- Assist in donor communication and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Participate in advocacy and outreach initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria
- Students or graduates in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Development Studies, Humanities, or related fields
- Passion for social service and community development
- Willingness to work in field conditions (where required)
- Basic communication and documentation skills
