Social Worker (Alameda office)

We have an immediate opening for a foster care/adoption Social Worker who will provide clinical case management, provide training and support to families as they prepare to become foster and adoptive parents. The Social Worker will facilitate the matching, placement, and finalization process for children and families.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MSW or related master’s degree required. Experience with youth in the foster care system; knowledge of and experience with providing permanency services; ability to effectively communicate with other professionals; commitment to finding permanency for older youth. Skills and experience working in multicultural settings. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Position will involve evening and weekend work. Must have own car and vehicle insurance.
