QUALIFICATIONS:

This open "Clinician" position will be filled by a candidate who has earned a MSW degree, MEdPsyc degree, Clinical Licensed Counselor credential or equivalent.

DESCRIPTION:

Felicity School is seeking a Social Worker to Worker provides intensive mental health support, crisis intervention, and case management for students with significant emotional or behavioral needs. They conduct individual and group therapy, develop trauma-informed treatment plans (IEP/BIP), and collaborate with teachers and families to promote educational and social success. The successful candidate possesses the necessary Illinois licenses, and demonstrates strong relationship building skills. Competitive salary, retirement contributions, and other benefits included.

Responsibilities Include:

· Direct Therapeutic Services: Implement individual and group therapy, counseling, and conflict resolution sessions, often utilizing trauma-informed approaches.

· IEP and Behavioral Support: Create and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) social-emotional goals and functional behavioral assessments (FBA/BIP).

· Crisis Management: Provide immediate crisis intervention and safety assessments during psychiatric or behavioral emergencies.

· Case Management & Advocacy: Manage a caseload, conduct student intakes, and advocate for student needs.

· Collaboration & Communication: Consult with teachers, staff, parents, and community providers to ensure cohesive support, including conducting home visits.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation.
