Softscape Construction Manager

A Landscape Company is searching for an active Softscape Construction Manager to join its team.

Job Description:

• Lead and coordinate daily operations for planting and softscape installation, ensuring compliance with landscape plans, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Oversee soil preparation, proper planting techniques, turf installation, and irrigation integration to ensure plant health and longevity.
• Supervise, train, and guide landscaping crews, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure efficiency and high-quality workmanship.
• Develop and monitor schedules, ensuring project milestones for softscape installation are met on time.
• Liaise with engineers, architects, and others working on a project.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Monitor site costs, control budgets, procure materials, and manage project variations to ensure profitability.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety standards, and resolve technical issues.
• Liaise with clients, landscape architects, consultants, and local authorities for approvals, updates, and final project handover.
• Adhere to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other requirements.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in landscape construction management, with in-depth knowledge of plant species, soil requirements, and irrigation systems.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience
• Fluent in English
• Proficiency in reading landscape plans and technical drawings; knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software is often required.
• A team player with proven ability to work under Pressure and to meet deadlines.
