Evans & Chambers Technology (EC) is seeking a Software Developer for a 200+ FTE technical development program supporting the Sponsor's Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. The Software Developer will work with a large team of software engineers and data engineers. The successful candidate will support continuity of our customer's mission by helping to modernize and implement industry standards while ensuring secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of IT systems.

Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain, enhance, and extend a mission-critical web application that manages entitlement and access management workflows for the Sponsor.
- Design, implement, and modify workflow automation and processing logic to support evolving mission requirements.
- Develop new features and improvements across the full application stack, including both backend services and frontend user interface enhancements.
- Implement integrations with external enterprise systems using RESTful APIs and other service interfaces.
- Support modernization of legacy components as part of the development of the next-generation version of the application.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues through log analysis, debugging, and root-cause investigation.
- Develop and maintain database queries and data interactions using SQL.
- Deploy and operate applications within Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, including supporting standard deployment and operational processes.
- Collaborate with system engineers, developers, and mission stakeholders to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in an Agile development environment, contributing to sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment activities.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree and 16+ years of relevant software development experience
- Strong experience with object-oriented programming using languages such as Java, .NET, or similar
- Experience developing and maintaining web applications and backend services
- Experience integrating applications with external systems via RESTful APIs
- Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries and interacting with relational databases
- Experience working with source control systems such as Git
- Experience interpreting and implementing customer requirements in enterprise software systems
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), IBM BPM, or similar BPMN workflow platforms
- Experience developing systems that support identity, entitlement, or access management workflows
- Experience supporting legacy system modernization efforts
