Software Developer and AI Strategist

LS (Loyalty Sense) POS and Payment Processing Solutions specializes in Fintech, Fintech Software Solutions, and Retail E-Commerce, with offices in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and Dallas, Texas, USA. LS provides end-to-end Point of Sale (POS) and payment processing solutions tailored for small to mid-sized businesses in North America. Our suite of solutions includes integrated POS systems, payments processing, mobile/online ordering, security surveillance, sound systems and IT projects. We also own a robust Shopify e-commerce store and have over 5,000 products listed on Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart in Canada and the US. We are committed to empowering businesses with innovative software, elite support and provision of specialized POS/IT hardware to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize profitability.

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Software Developer and AI strategist/Implementation Specialist to drive innovation across our Point of Sale (POS), Payment Processing, E-Commerce solutions, and AI tools evaluation and implementation for productivity improvements. This role combines software development, AI implementation, and technical support expertise to contribute to operational efficiency, customer experience, and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing AI-powered solutions, API development, developing web/mobile applications, and automating business processes. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, and vendors to deliver scalable and reliable technology solutions.

The diverse projects are initiated in a progressive way to address the company’s needs and to adopt to market requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions for POS systems, value-added applications, payment processing, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Integrate AI tools such as chatbots, recommendation engines, fraud detection systems, and automation workflows.
  • Build and optimize backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines for scalable applications.
  • Analyse large datasets to generate insights that improve customer engagement and business decisions.
  • Develop automation tools to streamline internal processes and operations.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and recommend relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with business teams to identify opportunities where AI can support sales and business development.

AI Strategy and Implementation

  • Evaluate and implement AI tools with the goal of productivity improvements.
  • Identify manual tasks in the company and help automate as much as possible utilizing various subscription-based AI technologies.
  • Train internal teams on the utilization of implemented AI technology.
  • Evaluate AI tools not limited to Claude, Superhuman, ChatGPT, Grok, Seamless.ai (Lead Generation), and NotebookLM. Recommend implementation based on cost-benefit analysis.
  • Integrate AI technologies to existing productivity tools such as Office 365, Zoho and POS technologies.
  • Help understand functional (Sales, Ecommerce – Research vs. Operations, Points of Sale Proposal/applications, Marketing) vs. individual implementation.

Web Development & E-Commerce

  • Develop and maintain websites using WordPress, Elementor and other Web technologies.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to improve user experience and design.
  • Assist in revamping corporate websites and client-facing platforms.
  • Work on ASP.NET / .NET Core web applications.
  • Manage website backups, restoration, and security.

Integration & Automation

  • Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways as needed.
  • Work with tools like Postman / SOAP APIs for system integrations.
  • Develop RPA solutions or automation workflows (e.g., Microsoft Power Automate).

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, operations, and support.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Ensure system performance, scalability, and security across all solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in software development and/or technical support roles.
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies is highly preferred.

Pay: Rs160,000.00 - Rs190,000.00 per month
