Software Development Engineer

We are hiring a high-ownership Software Development Engineer to join our early engineering team. This is a builder role with end-to-end responsibility across system design, backend, infrastructure, and production operations. You will work closely with founders and have direct influence on product and technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Own core systems end-to-end: design, implementation, deployment, and operations.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs for an enterprise product.
• Make architecture and technology decisions with the CTO.
• Set up and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and reliability practices.
• Move fast with minimal supervision in an ambiguous, early-stage environment.
• Take accountability for code quality, performance, and uptime.
  
  

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience building production-deployed software.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, system design, and backend engineering.
• Experience with at least two of these: Python, Go, Typescript.
• Working knowledge of AWS, CI/CD pipeline, and version control.
• Ability to independently break down problems and ship solutions.
• High agency, ownership mindset, and bias for execution.
• Experience in data engineering or distributed systems.
• Exposure to DevOps or infra automation.
