RentoMojo caters to the needs of the working professionals which is unmet due to nonavailability of furnished

rental flats by offering furniture and appliances on rental basis, thus, providing more flexibility than owning

the expensive furniture and appliances.

Currently, we have 100,000+ subscribers with a typical rental period of 12-14 months. The current market size

(as per a recent report by Grant Thornton) is estimated to be US$ 4.1 Billion and expected to grow to US$ 13

Billion by 2025.

With 700+ people operations, the company has a presence in 16 cities across India. Looking back, Rentomojo

has not only made a new market of lease which never existed for the consumer, they have also become

market leaders in the consumer rental industry. Unlike the norm, they are now seeing a reverse trend wherein

a version of ours is being copied in the US and UK. We are also profitable at monthly PAT since Oct 2021.

About The Role

We are looking for a motivated Frontend Engineer (SDE-I) to join our team. You’ll be responsible for building user-friendly, scalable web applications and collaborating with designers, product managers, and backend developers. The role is framework-agnostic, but experience with Vue.js and Nuxt.js will be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain frontend features with guidance from senior engineers.
• Convert UI/UX designs into responsive and reusable components.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
• Debug and fix issues to ensure application stability and performance.
• Collaborate with team members for feature delivery and code reviews.
• Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and practices.
  
  

Requirements

• 6 months – 1 year of professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with at least one modern frontend library/framework (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Understanding of component-based architecture and basic state management.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and frontend-backend integration.
• Experience with Git / version control workflows.
• Awareness of responsive design, accessibility, and browser compatibility.
  
  

Good to Have

• Hands-on experience with Vue.js (Vue 2/3) and Nuxt.js (routing, SSR/SSG, SEO-friendly apps).
• Exposure to TypeScript.
• Knowledge of testing tools (Jest, Cypress, etc.).
• Experience contributing to production-grade projects.
