Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

We are seeking a highly skilled SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with strong expertise in ETL testing, SQL, and Python programming.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in validating data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and developing automation scripts from scratch — not just enhancing existing frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for ETL pipelines and data workflows.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
• Develop automation frameworks and test scripts using Python.
• Collaborate with developers and data engineers to identify, isolate, and resolve issues.
• Perform end-to-end validation of data from source to target systems.
• Work in Agile teams, participate in sprint planning, and contribute to quality assurance best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8 to 15 years of total experience in Software Testing, with a focus on ETL / Data Testing.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SQL (complex joins, stored procedures, performance optimization).
• Proficient in Python programming for test automation.
• Experience with data warehouses, ETL tools, and pipeline validation.
• Understanding of QA processes, test design, and automation strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: Up to ₹1.8 Lakhs per Month
• Mode: Fully Remote (6 Months)
• Immediate joining preferred (max 15 days)
• Contract duration - initially 6 month's, can be extended as per candidate performance
