Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join our Technology team at Clarivate. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of scalable web applications and APIs using modern front-end and back-end technologies.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in front-end development using JavaScript, jQuery, React, or Angular
• Minimum 1+ years of experience with backend development using Python, Ruby on Rails, or similar technologies
• Minimum 1+ years of experience with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with API development and integration
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  
  

It Would Be Great If You Also Have...

• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies
• Experience working in Linux or Windows environments
  
  

What Will You Be Doing in This Role?

• Collaborate with the team to design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications
• Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team discussions
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and team processes.

Work Hours

This is a permanent position based in Bangalore, operating in the IST time zone (12 PM – 9 PM IST) with a hybrid work model and a flexible, employee-friendly environment.
