Software Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for creating innovative solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks, as well as experience with IT infrastructure and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software applications using Ruby on Rails, Java, Python, C#, and other programming languages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features in an Agile environment.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services to enhance application functionality.
• Maintain and improve existing applications by troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance.
• Utilize version control systems such as GitHub and SVN for code management.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality standards are met.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept through deployment.
• Work with databases such as MySQL and SQL to manage data effectively.
• Engage in front-end development using JavaScript frameworks like React Express to create user-friendly interfaces.
• Implement security measures including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) within applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages including Ruby on Rails, Java, Python, C++, C#, and .NET.
• Strong understanding of web development principles and technologies including RESTful APIs, Agile methodologies, and application development practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts and Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL and SQL.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $108,203.35 - $130,309.41 per year
