Software Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and web development, with expertise in various programming languages and frameworks. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications that enhance our IT infrastructure and support our business objectives. This role requires a collaborative mindset and an understanding of Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using Ruby on Rails, Java, Python, and C#.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs to enhance application functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain version control using GitHub and SVN.
• Utilize AWS or Azure cloud services for application deployment and management.
• Write clean, maintainable code while adhering to best practices in software development.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Work within an Agile environment to deliver projects on time while adapting to changes.
• Conduct testing of applications across various platforms including Linux environments.
• Engage in front-end development using JavaScript frameworks such as React or Express.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in software development with proficiency in languages such as Ruby on Rails, Java, Python, C++, C#, and SQL.
• Familiarity with web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful API design.
• Experience with database management systems like MySQL and knowledge of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
• Understanding of IT infrastructure concepts and application development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $99,144.44 - $119,399.75 per year
