We’re looking for a skilled Software Engineer to help build and scale our cutting-edge ESG digital platform — a product designed to drive sustainability through technology.

🌱 Role Overview

The Software Engineer will play a key role in developing and maintaining the digital platform. The role involves designing scalable backend systems, building optimized database schemas, integrating AI models, and ensuring cybersecurity and data integrity across all services. The engineer will collaborate closely with front-end, data science, and IoT teams to deliver secure, high-performance, and reliable digital solutions aligned with sustainability objectives.

💼 Required Background

✔️ Must-have: Node.js, JavaScript

✔️ Preferred: Python

✔️ Experience with API development & cloud platforms

✔️ 4+ years of backend or full-stack development

🎯 Ideal Profiles

Full-stack engineers from SaaS, ESG tech, or data-platform backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply.

📘 Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

* 4+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development.

* Proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and database schema design (SQL/NoSQL).

* Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, access control, and API security.

* Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

* Strong debugging, performance optimization, and documentation skills.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js.

* Build and maintain efficient database schemas (PostgreSQL, or equivalent) to support data-intensive ESG applications.

* Integrate backend systems with AI and ML models developed by data scientists for analytics and predictive insights.

* Develop and maintain secure communication channels and apply cybersecurity best practices to protect data and user privacy.

* Implement authentication, authorization, and encryption standards for platform access and data protection.

* Ensure scalability, performance optimization, and fault tolerance of backend infrastructure.

* Participate in DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and version control management.

* Document APIs, maintain clean code standards, and conduct peer code reviews.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (front-end, QA, and sustainability experts) to align platform capabilities with project needs.
