We're working with Oceaneering on this exciting opportunity.

Oceaneering Technologies (OTECH) is seeking a Project Software Engineer to develop, manufacture, and operate customized marine systems for U.S. military vessels. This role offers the chance to lead software efforts on unique, one-of-a-kind projects, providing a deep understanding of the software lifecycle within a dynamic and impactful environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Apply working knowledge of software lifecycle to develop and lead software efforts.

• Implement decisions for designing and maintaining software architecture.

• Interface with other engineering leads, program managers, and external customers.

• Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and acceptance of project CDRLs, including requirements management and software documentation.

• Support software testing on the factory floor, offsite, and offshore.

• Mentor junior team members, fostering growth and shared expertise.

What You'll Need:

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related technical field.

• 5+ years of practical experience in software engineering.

• Experience with one or more programming languages: React, C, C++, or C#.

• Solid written and oral communication skills for documenting and presenting engineering concepts.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Government Department of Defense Security Clearance.

• Must be a US citizen.
