Software Engineer (C Programming, GPA >= 3.8)

VOCAL Technologies is currently seeking individuals who are creative, self-motivated, and who demonstrate analytic ability, practicality, and quality work. Ideal candidates are individuals with an understanding of network communications protocols, software test engineering, and/or tool design. This individual will be part of a team to develop solutions for the telecommunications industry.

Candidates with little work experience but high GPA are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Working with customers to provide a solution that meets and exceeds their needs.
• Designing and implementing software solutions to telecommunications problems.
• Maintaining and improving existing software solutions.
• Code and test software modules of significant size and complexity.
• Create software tools to aid in code building and maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ yeas experience with C/C++ programming.
• Experience with Embedded Systems.
• Experience capturing and debugging network traffic.
• Experience with Real Time Operating Systems.
• Experience with Digital Signal Processing algorithms.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
• Must be able to obtain Security Clearance.
• Familiarity with C/C++ programming languages.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
