Position Overview

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Polygraph

We are seeking an Entry-Level Software Engineer to join the GALAXYMAP team at the Mega Center. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with minimal software engineering experience who are eager to contribute to mission-critical software projects in a collaborative, dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will have exposure to Java and a strong foundation in computer science principles. Experience with NLP, AI/ML, and Kubernetes is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, and testing of software systems

• Write, debug, and maintain code, primarily in Java

• Collaborate with team members on software architecture and design discussions

• Support deployment and maintenance of software in test and production environments

• Assist in documenting software design, coding practices, and troubleshooting procedures

• Work under the guidance of senior engineers on Agile or iterative development projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university

• Minimal experience with Java

• TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required

• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies

Note: Four (4) years of relevant software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP)

• Experience with Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML)

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized environments
