Location: Lahore (Hybrid)
Working Hours: US Time Zone
Experience: 3–5 Years

We are hiring for one of a well-known software houses looking to onboard a talented Full Stack Software Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript. The role involves full ownership of features, working on scalable systems, and contributing to production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end from development to production
• Participate in system design and technical discussions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Handle production issues, bug fixes, and system improvements
• Conduct code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Support customer-facing technical issues when required
• Maintain clear technical documentation

Technical Stack

• Backend: Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript
• Database: PostgreSQL (TypeORM)
• APIs: RESTful APIs
• Queues: BullMQ, Redis
• Authentication: JWT, Passport.js
• Testing: Jest (Unit & Integration)
• DevOps: Docker, CI/CD pipelines

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js & TypeScript
• Practical experience with NestJS or similar frameworks
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development
• Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and code reviews
• Experience in writing unit and integration tests

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Redis and background job processing
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments
• Experience working on scalable or high-traffic systems

Position Details
