Software Engineer I (Backend)

Job Duties:

• Under close supervision of senior engineers, assist in the implementation of designs for the development and maintenance of backend software applications.
• Perform routine coding, debugging, testing, and documentation tasks to support the company's software platform.
• Assist in implementing backend microservices and APIs based on detailed specifications provided by senior engineers.
• Observe and contribute to code reviews while collaborating with team members to translate requirements into functional features under guidance.
• Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines to support workloads following established procedures.
• The position utilizes standard software tools and languages, including Python, Go, SQL, and Git.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, or closely related field.

Experience: No prior experience required

Special Skills/Other Requirements:

• Knowledge of at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Go, Java, or C/C++).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices concepts.
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL) and version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of Linux environments.
