1. Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive test automation framework for our financial applications, incorporating security, performance, and accessibility testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure the timely delivery of projects
• Utilise automated testing tools and methodologies to efficiently assess the functionality, reliability, and usability of software solutions
• Work with cloud platforms, specifically Azure, to architect, deploy, and manage secure and scalable testing infrastructure
• Perform regular security assessments, code reviews, and vulnerability scanning to identify and address potential threats
• Analyze performance metrics and implement optimizations to enhance the end-user experience
• Ensure that applications meet accessibility standards and provide an inclusive user experience
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the team's capabilities and the overall software development process
• Assist in mentoring and guiding junior developers and team members on testing best practices

2. Experience Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in Automation Testing with knowledge in Full Stack preferred with working within Financial Services or Banking is desirable but not essential

3. Knowledge Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in test automation, including hands-on experience with security/performance/accessibility testing
• Knowledge in full stack development and frameworks such as Java/Python, JavaScript.
• Experience working with databases like SQL, NoSQL, and ORM technologies
• Experience with the following tools/framework:
• Karate framework
• BDD framework (Cucumber)
• GIT
• JIRA
• Webdriverio
• Azure basics
• Zypher
• Hands-on experience with Azure and cloud-native testing infrastructure
• Strong understanding of automated testing tools, frameworks, and best practices
• Relevant certifications (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.) are a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
• Nice to have : nCino, Mambu
