Position Overview

RogueThink is seeking a Software Engineer to provide sustainment and operations support for mission-critical enterprise web applications within a classified federal environment. This role emphasizes Linux systems administration, Oracle Siebel CRM sustainment, Java and PL/SQL application support, and cybersecurity compliance. The Software Engineer ensures platform stability, availability, and secure mission operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Tier-3 operations and maintenance support for secure enterprise web applications
• Implement application enhancements and workflow updates aligned to mission requirements
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability while maintaining recovery procedures
• Support RMF, SSP, ATO, and Body of Evidence (BoE) cybersecurity compliance activities
• Investigate and remediate defects in legacy Java-based applications
• Maintain Linux-based application and database environments
• Oversee interfaces between enterprise applications and supporting databases
• Utilize Sponsor-approved systems to track issues, changes, and enhancements
• Provide direct technical support to mission users

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with FSP
• Demonstrated Linux systems administration capability in secure environments
• Strong proficiency in Java and Oracle PL/SQL
• Working knowledge of Oracle Siebel CRM or comparable enterprise CRM platforms
• Proven support of client/server-based enterprise applications
• Experience producing RMF, SSP, and BoE cybersecurity documentation
• Hands-on background installing and configuring database environments
• Familiarity with encryption protocols such as OpenSSL and TLS

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior involvement supporting classified Sponsor environments
• Hands-on use of Red Hat, CentOS, or Rocky Linux distributions
• Background utilizing DevOps collaboration tools including GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence
• Exposure to Spring, Hibernate, and Tomcat frameworks
• Ability to track discrepancy reports and resolve application defects
• Experience building or extending ServiceNow applications
