Job Title: Software Engineer – HD Map & SLAM (Automated Driving)

Location: Pune

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our Autonomous Driving team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in HD Map creation and SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) and will contribute to the development, analysis, and implementation of these functions within our automated driving systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand concepts of HD Map creation and SLAM approaches for automated driving systems.
• Evaluate potential conflicts between HD Map/SLAM functions and neighboring AD system components.
• Develop white-box software implementations based on defined HD Map and SLAM concepts.
• Derive and specify testable requirements and design corresponding test cases for verification.
• Identify and define diagnostic requirements for HD Map and SLAM functionalities.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong analytical skills to assess HD Map and SLAM requirements and their integration into AD systems.
• Proven experience in implementing HD Map and SLAM functionalities based on system requirements and architectural concepts.
• Several years of experience as a concept and software developer in the domain of autonomous driving.
• Advanced proficiency in: C++, GitLab & GitLab CI.
• Language Requirements: English (Minimum B2 level), German (Knowledge is highly beneficial).
