Software Pipeline Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated software pipelines for build, test, deployment, and system integration.
• Create and manage CI/CD workflows to improve release speed, quality, and reliability.
• Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot failures, and implement improvements for stability and scalability.
• Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and security teams to streamline engineering workflows.
• Integrate tools and services across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
• Develop scripts, automation, and reusable components to reduce manual effort.
• Maintain documentation for pipeline architecture, processes, and operational procedures.
• Implement logging, alerting, and reporting for pipeline health and performance.
• Ensure pipelines follow security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Support environment management, version control practices, and release coordination.

Job Requirements

Education and training:

• BS in computer science, engineering, or data science or related field plus 7+ years’ experience in software design, testing development, DevOps, software engineering, or ML engineering

Technical Knowledge:

• Experience building and supporting software pipelines, automation workflows, or CI/CD systems.
• Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java, or Go.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.

Experience:

• Ten (10)+ years experience in software engineering and management. Familiarity with infrastructure, product, design, QA and research
