We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the excellence of our mobile and web applications through rigorous testing and quality control processes.

About the Role
As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will develop and execute test plans, perform manual and automated testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver defect-free applications. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining high standards in software quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile and web applications.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify, document, and resolve software defects.
• Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide actionable feedback.
• Create and maintain clear, detailed technical documentation for test cases, results, and defects.
• Assist in developing and improving testing tools and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Report testing results, issues, and recommendations for improvements to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry trends, testing methodologies, and best practices in software quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 1 year of experience in mobile and web application testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proficiency in manual testing; familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation.
• Understanding of mobile and web application development processes.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
• Candidates must reliably commute or be willing to relocate to Faisalabad for onsite work (if applying for onsite role).
