Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Mergestack is looking to fill the position of Software Quality Assurance Engineer.

Requirements:

• Good understanding of software testing (functional, non-functional, regression, system, user acceptance, performance, etc)
• Test case designing, and end to end testing
• Thorough understanding of SDLC, and automated QA processes in an agile environment
• A highly motivated individual who can understand complex systems quickly
• Good a
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven track record for timely project delivery and project management
• Ability to multitask, work independently as well as part of a team, and demonstrate keen attention to details
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
• 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Project Management or Product Management certification is a plus
• Scrum or Agile certification is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Execute test cases manually and, when applicable, automate tests to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Utilize bug tracking tools to log and monitor issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct performance testing to assess software responsiveness, stability, and scalability under different conditions.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with end-users during UAT to ensure their feedback is effectively captured and addressed.
