Position: Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer ( with 1 year of experience )

Location: On-site - PGECHS, Lahore

Timings: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Code Analytics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SQA Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1 year of hands-on experience in software testing who is eager to enhance their skills in a professional environment. You will work closely with developers and project managers to test web and software applications, identify bugs, and ensure product quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Perform manual testing across web and software applications to identify bugs, UI/UX issues, and performance concerns.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar platforms.
• Utilize strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies to contribute to the development lifecycle.
• Log, track, and manage defects using Jira, Trello, or comparable bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to ensure timely resolution and continuous quality improvement.
• Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and QA reviews.
• Assist in learning and contributing to test automation frameworks when needed.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in Software QA (manual or manual + automation).
• Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum processes, and QA best practices.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub operations (clone, pull, branch, commit).
• Basic understanding of any programming/scripting language (Python, Java, or JavaScript preferred).
• Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced environment.
