Software Sales Engineer

The Software Sales Engineer will be responsible for supporting a consistently high-quality customer experience through the delivery of software related sales, training, and support services. This role forms an important part of fulfilling our strategy, specifically the core objective of prioritizing our Customer’s Success as a competitive differentiator and a key part of our Brand promise, and by growing the FRAMECAD network. This role bridges technical expertise with customer engagement, ensuring that customers drive maximum value from our software offerings. This role will require regular domestic and possible international travel in the EMEA region


This role will also be responsible for driving software and training revenue growth for our software products by:

  • Following on software sales opportunity from Lead to Close including demo bookings,
  • Upselling software training
  • Supporting the sales team in presenting solutions to prospects,
  • Onboarding new and transitioning customers
  • Providing feedback and retention insight to product
  • Ensuring ongoing customer success through training and support.


Skills and Experience:

  • At least 3+ years’ experience in a Software Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales, Customer Success, Training or Technical Consultant role, ideally within SaaS, CAD, BIM, or engineering-related software.
  • Exposure to the construction, manufacturing, or steel/roll forming industries is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of supporting software sales cycles end-to-end, including product demonstrations, proposal support, and closing opportunities.
  • Experience delivering technical training and onboarding for software solutions to a variety of customer audiences (from technical experts to non-technical users).
  • Demonstrated ability to upsell or cross-sell software or services by identifying customer needs and creating value-based solutions.
  • Background working with global customers and diverse cultural environments is advantageous.
