Software Service Engineer

Job Title : Software Service Engineer

Salary: QAR 7,500 per month (full package)

Location: Doha, Qatar
Contract: 6 Months (Extendable)
Working Hours: 10 Hours per Day, 5 Days per Week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Service Engineer – L2 to support and maintain enterprise applications for a prestigious government project in Qatar. The ideal candidate will provide advanced technical support, troubleshoot application issues, manage incidents within SLA timelines, and act as a key liaison between customers and internal technical teams. Fluency in French and English is mandatory.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Application Support, Software Support, or Technical Support.
  • Fluent in French and English (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and service management.
  • Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, or Maximo.
  • Hands-on experience supporting enterprise applications, APIs, and integrations.
  • Strong experience working with relational and non-relational databases, including writing SQL queries, troubleshooting database issues, data validation, and performance analysis.
  • Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar platforms.
  • Good understanding of Linux environments, system administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in Python scripting, automation, and script development.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis, data management, data integrity, and reporting.
  • Ability to write and maintain scripts for monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support activities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
