Software Support Associate

As a Software Support Associate at Peabody Properties, you will be a key driver of operational efficiency across our housing portfolio. You will manage the lifecycle of support tickets—from initial triage to resolution—ensuring our team has the technical tools they need to succeed.

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented problem solver who excels in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a mix of independent troubleshooting and team collaboration.


Essential Responsibilities

  • System Administration: Serve as an in-house RealPage administrator, managing platform settings, user roles, permissions, workflows, and data integrity.
  • Ticket Management: Triage, prioritize, and resolve software support inquiries within the ticketing system. Ensure all resolutions are documented to build a robust internal knowledge base.
  • Operational Support: Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding of properties within the management software and support ongoing system enhancements.
  • Vendor Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for external software vendors to resolve complex system-wide issues.
  • Internal Communication: Draft and distribute clear communications regarding system updates, best practices, and emergency outage notifications.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in regular system analysis meetings to identify recurring issues and recommend standards for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: Degree/Certification in Business, Accounting, or Information Systems OR 2+ years of experience in Property Management (Affordable Housing experience is a major plus).
    • 1–3 years of experience with RealPage or similar Property Management Software.
    • At least 1 year of experience in a technical or software support role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong aptitude for learning new software applications and adapting to system updates.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Analytical Thinking: Exceptional problem-solving skills and mathematical aptitude.
    • Communication: Ability to translate complex technical issues into easy-to-understand instructions for end-users.
    • Conflict Resolution: Strong listening skills and the ability to manage user expectations under pressure.
    • Organization: Proven ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in real-time.

Compensation and Benefits:
