Solar Consultant

Join a fast-growing team as a 1099 Solar Sales Representative. You will be responsible for identifying and educating homeowners on the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy. This is a high-autonomy, performance-based role ideal for self-motivated individuals looking for uncapped income.

Compensation & Perks:

  • Earnings: Uncapped commission structure with an OTE (On-Target Earnings) of $75,000 – $250,000+ per year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify potential customers through door-to-door canvassing, networking, and referrals.
  • Consultations: Conduct in-home or virtual presentations to explain solar technology, financing options, and long-term savings.
  • Site Assessments: Evaluate roof suitability and energy consumption to design customized solar solutions.
  • Closing: Negotiate contracts and guide homeowners through the enrollment process.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain accurate records in the CRM and follow up with leads to ensure high satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous sales experience (door-to-door, roofing, or home improvement) is a plus, but we will train the right motivated candidates.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical information simply.
  • Independence: Must be 18+ with reliable transportation and a smartphone.
  • Grit: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors in a competitive environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $101,642.56 - $122,408.25 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
