Solar Electrical Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Solar Electrical Technician Assists with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, typically working under the supervision of senior technicians.

Role & Responsibilities

· Maintenance & Installation: Assist in installing electrical components, such as wiring, conduits, panels, and lighting, and performing routine inspections to ensure functionality.

· Troubleshooting & Repair: Identify and repair faulty wiring, equipment, and electrical fixtures using tools like multimeters, ammeters, and wire strippers.

· Safety Compliance: Strictly follow safety protocols, including NEC (National Electrical Code) standards, and properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to prevent hazards.

· Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and equipment performance.

· Technical Assistance: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to guide installation and troubleshooting efforts.

· Training and Development: Participate in on-the-job training to advance technical skills and knowledge of electrical systems.

Required Skills

· Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical circuits, components, and tools.

· Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, kneel, climb, and lift, often working in cramped spaces.

· Safety Awareness: High attention to detail regarding hazards.

Required Education:

· Requires a high school diploma, plus specialized training from a technical school or apprenticeship (eg, ITI).

· Entry-level technicians frequently work in residential, commercial, or industrial settings, supporting construction projects or maintaining existing systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
