Solar Electrician
This position consists of minimum, 40 hour work weeks. This job will be based out of our Raleigh, NC office with around 25% of time being spent out of town working remotely in both NC and SC. This position should expect to be out of town at least 1 week out of the month.
This a temporary position with guarantee of employment past 12/31/2025
Duties:

A residential solar electrician will participate in the physical installation of residential solar electrical equipment and battery backup systems.
Tasks include but are not limited to: -
Full understanding and conceptual knowledge of single line electrical plans

Be able to read and install electrical equipment in accordance with plan set

Running conduit exterior and interior

Running NM in crawl space/attic

Work in electrical panels, landing breakers, moving existing breakers

Installation of solar inverter (be able to lift at least 50lbs)

Installation of Battery Backup systems (Tesla Powerwall and Generac PWRCell) First installer for all new products, completes required training courses from product manufacturers if certifications are necessary to sell/install the product

Reviews all residential and commercial electrical plan sets for errors and correct information
Qualifications: -
OSHA 10 certification (preferred before hire but required before starting)

General construction knowledge and/or experience along with the ability to use hand tools (drills, saws, drivers).

Ability to work at high heights with the use of a safety harness, outdoors, in attics and crawlspaces in extreme conditions.

Ability to work outside in all weather conditions that NC has to offer

Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds

Excellent communication and team working skills

Experience installing solar and battery systems required
