Overview
Tampa Bay Solar is a fast-growing solar energy company serving the Tampa Bay area. We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and highly organized Office & HR Manager to run daily office operations and oversee our administrative and HR functions. This is a leadership role supporting company growth and internal success. Solar industry experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office operations to ensure efficiency and organization
  • Supervise and support the Administrative Assistant
  • Maintain internal records, systems, and documentation
  • Act as the main point of contact for office operations
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers when needed or during escalation
  • Permitting, Scheduling, and project coordination alongside the Operations Manager
  • Quotes, invoicing, job scheduling

Human Resources

  • Handle hiring, onboarding, and employee offboarding
  • Maintain employee files and HR compliance records
  • Coordinate payroll, timekeeping, and benefits administration
  • Support employee relations and company policies
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company procedures

Administrative & Leadership Support

  • Support company leadership with scheduling, reporting, and operations
  • Coordinate safety meetings, and company events
  • Improve office systems and internal communication processes

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Office Management and/or HR experience
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Solar industry experience preferred
  • Strong organization, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and 365, Google Workspace, and office software
  • Experience with payroll, benefits, and HR compliance
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
  • Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented

Skills

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, succession planning, employee relations, conflict management, and performance management.
  • Strong communication skills for effective presentation and interpersonal interactions.
  • Proficiency with ADP Run and Quick books T-Sheets software is a plus!
  • Ability to analyze data for decision-making; skilled in data collection and analysis tools for process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities; adept at managing budgets and implementing process improvements efficiently.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus!

Pay: $47,840.00 - $62,400.00 per year
