SOLAR PANEL TECHNICIAN

Good day, we are looking for a skilled and dependable Solar Panel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar energy systems. This role requires attention to detail, technical knowledge, and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels, mounting structures, and electrical components safely and correctly

• Perform wiring, grounding, and connection of PV modules, inverters, and control systems

• Conduct system testing, performance checks, and commissioning

• Diagnose and repair faults, inverter issues, and system underperformance

• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspection of solar installations

• Ensure compliance with electrical, safety, and working-at-height standards

• Maintain tools, equipment, and accurate service reports

• Assist engineers and supervisors during project execution and upgrades

Qualifications

•Experience in solar panel installation, wiring, and maintenance

• Knowledge of PV systems, inverters, DC/AC connections, and grounding
• Ability to read technical drawings and perform system testing
• Skilled in troubleshooting solar faults and inverter issues
• Familiar with safety protocols and working at heights
• Physically fit, reliable, and able to work in outdoor conditions
• Must have electrical knowledge ; certifications preferred
