Job Title: Solar Pump Manager

Job Summary
The Solar Pump Manager will be responsible for planning, execution, and monitoring of solar water pump projects across agriculture, government, and institutional sectors. The role involves coordination with government departments, vendors, site teams, and customers to ensure timely project completion with strict adherence to quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Execution
Plan and execute solar pump installation projects (AC/DC pumps).
Ensure timely completion as per work orders and subsidy guidelines.
Monitor daily site activities and resolve execution issues efficiently.
2. Government Liaison & Compliance
Coordinate with state nodal agencies, DISCOMs, and Agriculture Departments.
Ensure compliance under government schemes such as PM-KUSUM.
Manage documentation, inspection processes, and subsidy approvals.
3. Site Management
Supervise installation teams and contractors.
Ensure proper structure mounting, wiring, earthing, and pump commissioning.
Conduct periodic site inspections and quality audits.
4. Vendor & Material Management
Coordinate procurement and delivery of modules, pumps, inverters, structures, and cables.
Manage inventory planning and logistics across multiple projects location
5. Team Management
Lead site engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
Assign daily/weekly installation targets and monitor performance.
Provide technical training and guidance to teams.
6. Customer Handling
Coordinate with farmers and beneficiaries.
Handle service issues and ensure smooth after-sales support.
7. Reporting & MIS
Maintain daily and monthly project progress reports.
Update management on targets, delays, and risk mitigation plans.
Track subsidy documentation and payment status.
Required Qualifications:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy.
3–7 years of experience in solar pump or EPC project management.
Experience in government solar schemes (PM-KUSUM preferred).
Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
