Solar PV Installer / Electrician (Wire-Up Specialist)

Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Solar PV Installer/Electrician to carry out system wire-ups and support full installations. The ideal candidate will be confident working on domestic solar and battery systems and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Essential Requirements

• ECS Gold Card (Electrician)
• Solar PV qualification (Level 3 Award in Solar PV Installation or equivalent)
• Battery storage qualification
• Strong experience in solar PV installations (domestic)
• Confident with system wiring, commissioning, and fault finding
• Solid understanding of UK electrical regulations (BS 7671)

Preferred / Bonus Skills

• Experience installing:
• SolaX systems
• Hanchu batteries
• Duracell battery systems
• Ability to assist with or carry out roof work (panel mounting, rails, etc.)
• Experience working on hybrid inverter systems

Typical Duties

• Wiring up solar PV and battery systems
• Assisting with full installs where needed
• Commissioning systems and ensuring correct operation
• Working alongside roofers/install teams
• Ensuring all work meets compliance and safety standards
