We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Solar PV Technician to support the installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of solar energy systems across various projects in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install solar PV systems, including solar panels, mounting structures, inverters, batteries, and associated electrical components.
- Perform DC and AC wiring, cable termination, and system interconnections.
- Conduct testing, commissioning, and performance verification of solar PV systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults related to solar panels, inverters, batteries, monitoring systems, and electrical equipment.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards.
- Prepare service reports, installation reports, and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with project engineers, suppliers, and customers during installation and maintenance activities.
- Support site surveys and technical inspections when required.
Qualifications:
- Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Additional technical certifications related to solar energy or electrical systems are an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in solar PV installation, commissioning, maintenance, or related electrical field work. Experience with rooftop and ground-mounted solar systems is preferred.
- Experience working with solar inverters, battery storage systems, and monitoring platforms.
- Fluent in English and Arabic (both spoken and written).
- Currently based in KSA, preferably Riyadh.
- Willing to work in a split-shift schedule.
- Willingness to travel to project and customer sites across KSA.
