Solar Sales Consultant & Project Developer (Field-Based)

Location: Bengaluru. Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented Sales Consultant who thrives in the field and brings a fresh perspective to project development.

The Opportunity: What You'll Do

This is a hunter role that requires you to be a subject matter expert on-site and an innovative strategist back in the pipeline. You will be responsible for the entire sales lifecycle, from initial contact to contracted project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Sales & Site Assessment: Conduct thorough on-site visits to residential and/or commercial properties to evaluate solar viability, assess roof/site conditions, identify shading issues, and take necessary measurements for accurate system design.
  • Project Acquisition: Proactively generate new leads and close deals by presenting compelling, customized solar proposals that clearly articulate ROI, energy savings, and environmental benefits.
  • Innovation & Design: Think outside the box! Leverage current technology (battery storage, EV charging integration, advanced inverters) to develop innovative, high-value proposals that solve complex customer energy needs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact, building trust and rapport with clients, managing their expectations throughout the sales cycle, and coordinating handoff to the installation team.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate, up-to-date sales pipeline using our CRM to ensure consistent forecasting and goal attainment.

What You'll Bring (Required Qualifications)

  • 2+ years of proven outside sales experience, preferably within the Solar, Roofing, or Energy sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Solid foundational knowledge of solar PV systems, design principles, and electrical basics.
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily site visits in the designated territory.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset—you don't just sell; you solve problems.
