Job Title: SolidWorks Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated SolidWorks Engineer with minimum one year of experience to join our team. The SolidWorks Engineer will assist in creating and modifying 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings using SolidWorks software. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of mechanical engineering principles, proficiency in SolidWorks, and a strong willingness to learn and grow in the field. The SolidWorks Engineer will work closely with experienced engineers and designers to contribute to the development of innovative solutions and assist in the completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing detailed 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks software under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support the creation of technical drawings, schematics, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to project goals and deadlines.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input to enhance the quality and efficiency of designs.
• Learn and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to define part and assembly requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new features of SolidWorks software to enhance design capabilities.
• Assist in conducting feasibility studies and analysis to evaluate design concepts and propose solutions.
• Aid in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during prototyping and testing phases.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline design processes and optimize product performance.
• Adhere to company standards, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• One year of experience working with SolidWorks software in an engineering environment.
• Basic proficiency in 3D modeling, surface modeling, and parametric design techniques using SolidWorks.
• Understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Interest in learning and applying GD&T principles and tolerance analysis.
• Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation software is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
• Eagerness to grow and develop skills in SolidWorks engineering.
