SOLIDWORKS - Sales Development Representative

Location: Hybrid. ~2 days per week in Grand Rapids, MI. Remainder remote. Compensation: Base plus uncapped commission.

What You'll Own

  • Sourced Pipeline. You are accountable for a weekly number of qualified discovery meetings booked for our Account Executives. Your scorecard measures outcomes, not effort.
  • Outbound Prospecting. Multi-channel outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn, video) against a targeted account list. Activity floor of 75+ touches per day. That's the minimum, not the goal.
  • Inbound Response. When a prospect raises their hand, you respond same-day, every time. No warm lead goes cold on your watch.
  • Research and Targeting. Refine and enhance prospect lists. Know the account before you pick up the phone. Engineers and executives will spot a generic pitch in ten seconds. Don't be that SDR.
  • Discovery Quality. Book meetings with clear pain, fit, and next-step alignment. Qualified means qualified. AE time is not a participation trophy.
  • HubSpot Discipline. Every call, email, and meeting logged. Clean data, accurate stages, no ghost deals. Our CRM is a shared source of truth. Treat it like one.

Required

  • 1 to 3 years in SDR, BDR, or high-volume inside sales (technical or SaaS preferred).
  • Documented track record hitting or exceeding meeting and pipeline targets.
  • Working proficiency in HubSpot or comparable CRM.
  • Able to be in our Grand Rapids, MI office ~2 days per week.
  • U.S. work authorization.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to CAD, PLM, engineering software, or selling into manufacturing buyers.
  • Experience in a sales methodology-driven environment (Sandler, MEDDIC, Challenger, etc.).

What Success Looks Like at 90 Days

  • Fluent in our core value prop, ICP, and qualifying framework.
  • Hitting weekly meeting booked target consistently.
  • Clean HubSpot hygiene. You're the rep AEs don't have to clean up after.
  • Known on the team as someone who does what they say, by when they say.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
