About The Role

We’re looking for a Solution Architect to lead a high-impact, high-ownership engineering function at the intersection of AI, platform engineering, and fintech. This is an opportunity to build and scale systems from the ground up. You will define the technical vision, shape the architecture, and grow a lean, high-performing engineering team. The role requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic thinking with execution, and has a strong passion for building AI-driven products and scalable platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall engineering and platform strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the design and development of scalable, cloud-native applications and distributed systems.
• Drive adoption of AI/ML solutions including LLM-based systems and automation workflows.
• Establish engineering best practices, standards, and governance across teams.
• Oversee architecture decisions including APIs, microservices, and data platforms.
• Ensure system scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team.
• Manage engineering processes, delivery timelines, and team productivity.
• Collaborate with product, data, and leadership teams to ensure engineering strategy is tightly coupled to business outcomes.
• Promote a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  
  

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in engineering leadership or management roles.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML systems, LLMs, or modern AI tools is preferred.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar)
• Deep understanding of system design, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Proven track record of building and scaling engineering teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience working in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to align technical and business stakeholders.
• Exposure to fintech or banking is a plus.
  
  

Interview Process

• Round 1: A technical interview to assess the candidate’s expertise and practical experience.
• Round 2: A discussion with the PMO/CTO to evaluate strategic thinking and technical alignment.
• Round 3: A client interview to evaluate communication, collaboration, and alignment with project expectations.
• Round 4: An HR interview to assess cultural fit, communication skills, and overall suitability for the role.
