Solution Engineer

We are looking for a Solution Engineer who will be responsible for building technical understanding and credibility during the sales process and positioning BriefCam by Milestone products for video analytics to ensure the success of the solution.

You will work closely with the Milestone Specialist Sales team, resellers, distributors, consultants and key end users across industries in META (Middle East, Türkiye and Africa). You must be fluent in English and speaking Arabic is preferred. The position is based from the UAE office, and the job require the availability to travel in the region.

As the Solution Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring that defined integrators, consultants, and distributors get your full attention as you are the central point in educating and building up knowledge about the BriefCam analytics product suite into the channel.

As part of the go-to-market strategy, Milestone hosts technical seminars, and you will attend roadshows and exhibitions, which you will be leading as well as conducting.

What you work with on a daily basis:

• Performing demonstration sessions of our BriefCam solutions to partners and customers to win business.
• Examining and responding to tenders and preparing the technical part (response) to the offer.
• Hands-on and technical assistance in connection with preparation and setting up of exhibitions, events, customer meetings, Proof of Concepts, etc.
• Proactively managing your activities together with the local ABM (Analytics Business Managers) and support the ABM in joint projects with the Milestone XProtect team.
• Providing comprehensive solution design and detailed studies for various projects to ensure optimal implementation and integration of Milestone BriefCam product suite.
• Creating and delivering engaging presentations about Milestone BriefCam product suite to educate potential clients and support the sales team in effectively promoting and selling our solutions.
• Educating partners and end users about Milestone BriefCam product suite to ensure they have a thorough understanding and can effectively utilize the solutions.
• Ensuring Milestone BriefCam solutions, achieve peak efficiency and deliver impactful results for clients.
Contributing to continuous product training and conducting workshops for partners, end users, and consultants to provide in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Milestone BriefCam product suite.

What you bring to the team:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an IT Engineering role, also having worked with a 2-tier channel (distributors and integrators).
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, or proven suitable industry experience.
• Milestone Certified Integration Engineer (MCIE), Milestone Certified Integration Technician (MCIT), and Milestone Certified Design Engineer (MCDE) certifications are a plus.
• A background within the Video Surveillance Industry.
• The ability to convey technical knowledge to a technical and non-technical audience.
• Enjoys working with software, hardware, and the latest technologies.
• Extensive experience in IT, including deploying physical and virtual environments, along with network and storage configuration.
• Experience in Artificial Intelligence and its applications is a plus.
• As you will be facing customers and partners regularly, it is important that you can create trust and have the ability to convey your message in a compelling way.

Fluency in English is a necessity, speaking and understanding Arabic is highly preferable.
