Solution Engineer, Turkey

We are looking for a solution engineer, based in Türkiye to join our SEE team covering Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.

Your main priority will be to work closely with the Milestone sales team as well as our distributors, integrators, consultants, and end users, as Milestone Systems operates through a 2-tier channel. You will play a key role in educating the channel and building strong technical knowledge across defined partners. As part of our go-to-market activities, you will also lead and participate in technical seminars, roadshows, and exhibitions.

Your typical day at Milestone as a Solution Engineer:

• Secure the Technical Win
• Perform solution demonstrations for partners and customers to support sales opportunities
• Deliver continuous product training to end users, partners, and distributors
• Create and update training materials for partners and end users
• Review tenders and prepare the technical sections of proposals
• Provide hands-on assistance during exhibitions, events, and customer engagements
• Respond to RFIs and RFPs
• Proactively plan and manage your activities with the Sales Manager and local Channel Managers
• Occasionally support on-site troubleshooting and collaborate with Support and Engineering teams

How we can match:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT engineering role, ideally within a 2-tier channel model (distributors and integrators)
• Fluency in Turkish and English
• Willingness to travel to meet customers and partners
• Technical engineering degree or diploma is a plus
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate technical knowledge to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Enjoys working with software, hardware, and new technologies
• Solid hands-on experience with software, hardware, and system integrations
• Strong technical knowledge of IT networks, servers, and storage infrastructures (NAS, Fibre Channel, etc.), as well as Windows platforms. Microsoft SQL experience preferred
• Prior experience with VMS systems is an advantage
• Ability to build trust and communicate clearly in customer-facing situations

• Curious, inquisitive, and eager to stay updated on the latest VMS technologies
• Confident presenter able to translate complex technical topics into clear, engaging explanations
