Who you are?

The Solution Engineering and Project Lead is responsible for shaping customer requirements into clear, standardized, and executable automation solutions using the company’s product portfolio (AMRs/AGVs, conveyors, pallet handling, sorters, stackers, etc.). The role combines solution engineering with project leadership: ensuring technical clarity from presales through delivery, preparing standardized documentation, and acting as the customer’s primary technical contact.

This position also coordinates with product management and marketing to demonstrate product capabilities and support technical marketing activities. It ensures customer needs are translated into solutions, communicated across internal teams, and delivered consistently in international projects.

What You’ll Do Day-to-day

Solution Design & Pre-Sales Support

• Engage with customers during presales to analyze needs, site conditions, and process requirements.
• Develop solution concepts, process flows, layouts, and system configurations using standard products.
• Communicate solution alternatives, limitations, and risks to customers and sales teams.
• Support sales in meetings and presentations with technical expertise.
• Lead technical aspects of sales discussions when required.
  
  

Project Leadership & Execution Support

• Take ownership of the solution from order to delivery, ensuring technical scope and requirements are clear.
• Hand over technical documentation and requirements to site integration teams.
• Support troubleshooting and design-related problem solving during execution.
• Monitor solution consistency and escalate deviations when necessary.
• Provide structured feedback from delivery phase to sales, product, and engineering teams.
  
  

Documentation & Standardization

• Prepare, standardize, and maintain technical documentation, templates, and a structured knowledge base to support delivery, integration, and future projects.
  
  

Cross-Functional Coordination & Technical Marketing

• Act as the technical bridge between customers, sales, engineering, R , and site integration teams.
• Channel customer feedback to product management for future developments.
• Support marketing with solution demonstrations, capability documents, and reference cases.
• Contribute to international positioning of company solutions with technically credible content.
  
  

What You’ll Bring To Our Team

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Automation Engineering (or related).
• 3–7 years of experience in automation, intralogistics, or material handling systems.
• Strong understanding of automation products (AGVs, conveyors, pallet handling, sorters, stackers).
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards (e.g., PL, SIL, CE) and system integration.
• Strong ability to prepare and manage structured technical documentation.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and project support.
• Familiarity with CAD tools for layouts/schematics (concept level).
• Project coordination/leadership experience preferred.
